Radnorshire Women’s Aid merged as a single organisation with Calan Domestic Violence Services (Calan DVS). Radnorshire Women’s Aid joined Calan DVS on 1st October 2016.
The key principle integral to the merger and shared by both organisations is the: “Development, delivery and sustainability of high quality, specialist support services and interventions for individuals and families experiencing domestic abuse”
This merger provides an exciting opportunity to develop existing and new services, so improving outcomes for individuals and families experiencing domestic violence and abuse.
Calan – Radnorshire will continue to offer existing support services to women and children across the area, including refuge accommodation, floating support and outreach support; and the team is looking forward for this exciting opportunity to enable the organisation to expand and develop.
