Working together to end domestic violence and abuse.

Calan DVS’s CEO Rhian Bowen-Davies will be trekking around the country on September 8th as she takes on the Welsh 3 Peaks Challenge.

The 3 Peaks challenge consists of climbing the three most popular peaks in Wales; Snowdon, Cadair Idris, and Pen-Y-Fan, all in one day. First of all, challengers must reach the top of  Snowdon in the north, then come back down and travel an hour and a half to arrive at Cadair Idris. After climbing this peak in mid-Wales, the challengers must travel for almost three hours to the south, and then scale Pen-Y-Fan in the Brecon Beacons.

Rhian, along with a few other climbers, hopes to raise funds to enable Calan DVS to continue providing invaluable services for individuals and families experiencing domestic abuse in Neath Port Talbot. The money raised will help ensure the continuation of crucial interventions and  support services, such as counselling for children, adults and young people.

Any help that Rhian receives to accomplish this daunting challenge will be greatly appreciated. If you wish to donate a small amount of money to show your support for Rhian, you can text the code CDVS17, followed by the amount you wish to donate, to 70070. Each donation must be £1, £2, £3, £4, £5 or £10.
