It was announced at the end of April this year, that Calan DVS have been awarded £2 million in funding from the Big Lottery in order to deliver an innovative 5 year project providing early intervention and support services for children and young people exposed to domestic abuse across the Neath Port Talbot and Powys areas.
In May we begun to move the project forward by launching the initial recruitment stage. As we are now moving in to the second stage of recruitment, new positions have now become available.
Early Intervention and Support Coordinators

Salary: £20,000 per annum
Hours: Full time 37.5 hours
Project Area: Neath Port Talbot and Powys
Fixed term contract until 13th April 2019
The Early Intervention and Support Coordinators will be responsible for the successful delivery of this innovative Big Lottery funded project. Applicants should have significant experience of working with, and supporting, children with complex needs, particularly domestic abuse. Experience of multi-agency working, service user consultation, and the delivery of early intervention and prevention initiatives is essential.

Successful candidates will be required to undertake an Enhanced DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) check.
